How to avoid duplicate listings in Real Time Agent

When a contract of sale is uploaded into Real Time Agent, our team will endeavour to upload it firstly against the corresponding listing that has been imported into RTA from your CRM.

If a listing has not yet been imported, the team will create a new listing in order to host the Contract so that it can be used.

Duplicate listings often occur in RTA as the CRM listing was not available at the time a Contract was submitted, and that CRM listing is then subsequently imported creating the double-up.

How to avoid duplicate listings in RTA:

  1. Ensure that your listing has already been imported and is available in the RTA app prior to submitting a contract of sale for upload.
  2. Ensure that the listing address in your CRM matches the address entered on the contract upload form exactly. If there are any slight differences in the submitted address, this may result in a duplicate listing being created during the contract upload process.

    Example:

CRM Property Address: Unit 1/2 Example Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000
Contract Submission Address: Unit 1/2-5 Example Street, Melbourne, Victoria, 3000

In this instance, the property address in the contract submission including "2-5" may result in a duplicate listing in RTA.

  3. If there will be a slight variation between the address of the CRM listing and the Contract submission address, please note this with your contract submission and the team will proceed to upload it against the CRM listing accordingly.
